Benjamin Guggenheim

Benjamin Guggenheim was 46 years old and was travelling with his mistress Mrs Aubart. 

After the collision, Guggenheim's steward helped him into his lifebelt. However, Guggenheim and his manservant returned to their cabins and changed into evening wear. He was overheard to say "We've dressed in our best and are prepared to go down like gentlemen."

Guggenheim did not survive the disaster.
