James Moody

James Pell Moody was the Sixth Officer on board the Titanic. He was 24 years old.

James Moody answered the telephone call from lookout Frederick Fleet and relayed the message that there was an iceberg in the path of the Titanic.

Moody assisted in the loading of the lifeboats and was last seen at 2.18am trying to free the collapsible boats.

He did not survive the disaster.
