It's Taps For The Japs
Lyric and Music by Rev. James R. Cox, A.M. Ph.D.

[voice]
There's a day ev'ry Yankee will remember,
While all was clear and calm.
At Pearl Harbor in December,
came Japan to wreck and bomb!
From Manila to Alaska
all this nation must defend.
Rise up, all ye Americans!
Fight bravely to the end!

[chorus]
Now It's Taps For The Japs
when they're caught in the traps
they prepared for the U.S.A.
For they spied, while we tried
to decide, help and guide,
all the world in a peaceful way.
On that fateful Sunday morning,
we were attacked without a warning.
Now It's Taps For The Japs
and they're bound to collapse,
since they fired on the U.S.A.
