If this does not come as a standard component of the windows version you are using it can be downloaded and installed from http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp  

 

Error message - An application would like to access an old version of Java

This message is sometimes displayed after updating to a newer version of Java when both the older and newer versions are installed on a computer. To correct:

Re-install the latest version of Java from http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp

if the error persists uninstall all earlier versions of java from your computer
