History on the Net Worksheet Booklets are sold with full photocopiable rights for the purchaser provided that the copyright notice at the bottom of the page remains intact.
The purchaser may not keep or use any copies that are returned to History on the Net
The contents of the booklet may not be reproduced for profit or financial gain
The contents of the booklets may not be electronically distributed
The contents of the booklets remain the property of History on the Net
Purchases
The price charged for History on the Net goods is the price displayed on the website at the time of purchase.
With the exception of UK schools, payment for goods should be in advance, by credit or debit card online,
by PayPal, by personal cheque or postal order.
Customers placing an order with History on the Net will receive 2 email confirmations - one from History on the Net confirming placement of order and one from either PayPal or WorldPay
(if payment made at time of purchase) or from History on the Net confirming
receipt of cheque or postal order payment. Receipt of the two emails indicates that the order has been placed and paid for.
A further email is sent by History on the Net to confirm postage of the order.
Shipping rates are those posted on the website at the time of sale. Delivery times stated on the website are the guidelines for delivery given by Royal Mail for the postage service specified.
History on the Net cannot be held responsible for delays in despatch or delivery resulting from
circumstances beyond our control e.g. adverse weather conditions, power failure,
hardware failure, postal worker strikes etc.
Stock
All items are listed with a graphic image and text indicating the stock status of an item at the time of purchase. Our database is updated regularly throughout the day to take account of orders placed by post, telephone or fax but occassionaly a low stock item may go out of stock between updates.
In stock items are posted on the next working day by the shipping method chosen at checkout.
On order items are posted within 7 days by the shipping method chosen at checkout.
Very occassionally an on order item may become unavailable or subject to further delay in despatch. Where this is the case customers will be notified by email.
Distance Selling Regulations
Under the terms of the Distance Selling Regulations purchasers of History on the Net merchandise have the right to cancel their order within 7 days of delivery.
DVDs and CDs can only be returned if they are faulty or if they are still
sealed.
To cancel your order email customerservices@historyonthenet.com. If goods have already been dispatched then they can be returned unopened in original packaging.
Return address will be supplied upon email request.
Postage costs are non-refundable.

Delivery of Packages
The majority of History on the Net packages are sent by Royal Mail but some larger items are sent by courier.
An email is sent to all customers when their order is despatched advising approximate delivery timescale and also whether or not a package is likely to fit through a standard letterbox.

Where a customer has requested that a package be left in a specific place a note to this effect is placed on the package. By making such a request the customer accepts full responsibility for that package and History on the Net can take no liability for loss. A note to this effect is placed on our checkout pages to enable customers to choose whether or not they wish to accept responsibility.
