Our DVDs will only play in the USA if you have a multi-region player capable of playing PAL format DVDs

All DVDs are given a region code and are formatted according to their country of origin. Please check both the region code and the format for your location.

DVDs listed for sale by History on the Net will show both the region code and format of the disc.

Region 0 - Can be viewed Worldwide
Region 1- USA and Canada
Region 2- Europe, Japan, South Africa, Middle East
Region 3 - South-East Asia
Region 4 - Central and South America, Australia, New Zealand
Region 5 - Former Soviet Union, India, Pakistan, Africa
Region 6: China

DVD Formats

All DVDs sold by History on the Net are PAL format.

PAL will play in all red areas and most green areas. It will not play in blue areas unless you have a multi-region player.
