| History on the Net is a VAT registered UK based business and as such has to
charge VAT to all EC customers.
From Monday 1st December 2008 the UK rate of VAT will be 15%. All prices shown on the site include VAT at 15%
Under UK law sales of printed books are exempt from VAT but worksheets delivered
by .pdf download are subject to VAT.
Postage prices are also subject to VAT
As directed by UK law History on the Net does not routinely issue VAT receipts for orders under £50 unless purchased on School Purchase Order.
If your order total is less than £50 and you would like a VAT receipt please let us know.
Orders sent within the EC
The final price of your order will be the total price including VAT. The
actual amount of VAT charged will be shown on the final payment page and also on
the invoice that will accompany your order when posted.
Orders sent outside the EC
The final price of your order will be the total price excluding VAT. The VAT
included in the price on site will be removed and the price shown for your order
will not include the VAT charge.
Orders sent outside the EC will be subject to customs clearance upon arrival
at their destination country and may incur customs charges. History on the Net
has no control over what these charges may be and is not liable for their
payment.
