History on the Net Merchandise

Worksheet Booklets

History on the Net Worksheet Booklets are sold with full photocopiable rights for the purchaser provided that the copyright notice at the bottom of the page remains intact.

The purchaser may not keep or use any copies that are returned to History on the Net

The contents of the booklet may not be reproduced for profit or financial gain

The contents of the booklets may not be electronically distributed

The contents of the booklets remain the property of History on the Net

 

Purchases

The price charged for History on the Net goods is the price displayed on the website at the time of purchase.

With the exception of UK schools, payment for goods should be in advance, by credit or debit card online or personal cheque using the order form provided.

 Customers placing an order with History on the Net will receive 2 email confirmations - one from History on the Net confirming placement of order and one from either PayPal or WorldPay confirming payment. Receipt of the two emails indicates that the order has been placed and paid for. A further email is sent by History on the Net to confirm postage of the order.

Shipping rates and delivery times are those posted on the website at the time of sale. History on the Net cannot be held responsible for delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control e.g. adverse weather conditions, power failure, hardware failure etc.

History on the Net terms and conditions do not apply to purchases made through third party advertisers. Shoppers should refer to the terms and conditions of the third party sites.

 

Returns

History on the Net aims to supply quality goods and to provide an exemplar service.

 If for any reason you are not happy with your History on the Net purchase it may be returned, unused and in original packaging,  within 7 days  of delivery for replacement or refund.

If a customer's purchase is faulty or defective in any way History on the Net will reimburse any postage costs incurred by returning the product.

If a customer's purchase is not faulty all postage costs will be met by the customer. 

Please note: Because History on the Net offers free second class postage this cost is incorporated into the sale price. The rates charged for upgraded and international postage take this into account. For this reason an admin charge of 70p (to cover the cost of posting the original item) is payable on each item returned that is not faulty or defective.

History on the Net Returns Policy does not apply to purchases made through third party advertisers.

 

Distance Selling Regulations

Under the terms of the Distance Selling Regulations purchasers of History on the Net merchandise have the right to cancel their order within 7 days of delivery. To cancel your order email customerservices@historyonthenet.com. If goods have already been dispatched then they can be returned unopened in original packaging. Return address will be supplied upon email request. Postage costs are non-refundable.

For cancellation of purchases made through third party advertisers purchasers should refer to the terms and conditions posted on those sites.

 

Privacy Statement

The identity of all visitors to History on the Net remains private. History on the Net does not collect information about users of the site. Contact details of customers making History on the Net purchases are stored on a private database to facilitate returns or processing of future queries. History on the Net uses WorldPay to process secure credit or debit card purchases and has no access to customers bank or card details.

Users of this site have the opportunity to sign up for the History on the Net Newsletter and to request details of forthcoming services. Information collected for these purposes is not disclosed and is only used for the purposes described on the opt-in forms.

History on the Net does accept third-party advertising and cannot be responsible for the activities of those companies

History on the Net does not use cookies, however cookies are required to use the shopping basket for History on the Net purchases. Cookies store information pertaining to items placed in the shopping basket in order for it to be processed and the total amount payable to be passed to our payment gateways for credit/debit card processing. Cookies may also be used by third party advertisers on the site.

Names and addresses of purchasers are collected in order to process goods ordered from this site. This information is also stored to enable verification of returns requests.

History on the Net will take all reasonable precautions to maintain the privacy of both visitors to the site and purchasers from the site. However, History on the Net cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted via online forms.
