In An Aeroplane (A Modern Honeymoon)

[verse 1]
To marry, marry and sail 'way from home,
Far o'er this great wide world to roam,
Such plans were made by lovers of old,
For their honeymoon days of gold.
Seeking pleasure joy and delight,
With their souls so glad while life was bright,
But these pleasures cannot compare,
to a honeymoon, in the air.

[chorus]
Thro' the air 'way up there, with your sweetheart,
That's the place for married bliss.
Higher up, you can go nothing but birds about
No one to witness your kiss.
My it's great, can't be beat, thrilling, killing,
Drives away ev'ry care.
Join the ranks don't be shy, let us all sail,
up in an aeroplane!

[verse 2]
It often pays you to fly very high,
I'll just give one good reason why,
There's always "gossips" longing to spy,
On a happy pair flying by.
Let's soar upward way out of sight,
There's great joy in making such a flight,
And there's nothing that will compare,
to a honeymoon, in the air.

[repeat chorus]
