French troops are battling invading Japanese force in Indochina.

From Washington:
1). Economic boycott of Japan was considered in House committee. News of Japan's intentions are not good. Question of whether an embargo of oil would push Japan into Dutch East Indies is now moot. They're going to march in there anyway.
2). Congressmen are worried about an adjournment vote.
