Japanese Ambassador arrives

1). Franco's visit to France will likely result in armistice.
2). Wendell Willkie urged passage of Lend-Lease bill with some modifications. He appeared before the Senate Armed Services Committee. Willkie will meet Roosevelt tonight.
3). Japanese ambassador arrives tonight in Washington, was met by Germans and Italians.
4). FDR says that if there is a war with Japan, it will not affect deliveries to Britain, but does not think there is danger of such a war.
